Employment Int Behavioral Interventionist

Intensive Behavior Intervention Consultants, LLC (IBIC) is a leading nonpublic agency providing behavior intervention services for students with disabilities in the school and home setting. IBIC is seeking several self-starting individuals who are career-minded, engaging, confident, and assertive with a passion for helping children. IBIC provides comprehensive competency based paid trainings for all employees including New hire (pre-service), Induction, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Training (N-CPI) and in-service training. Since the behaviorist is the front line representative of the company, the IBIC employee will be required to display professional demeanor with excellent judgment and decision-making skills at all times.

Job Description:

  • Implement evidenced based ABA treatment programs specifically designed for students with identified special needs in the school and home setting
  • Ensure integrity of program implementation by following the behavior plan, utilizing scripts, prompting and reinforcement as required, collecting accurate data and providing daily documentation
  • Provide ongoing documentation and accurate feedback to all IBIC case manager/supervisor within required deadlines
  • Attend and complete mandatory trainings
  • Able to exercise professionalism, confidentiality and discretion pertaining to all aspects of the work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
  • A bachelor's degree in: Child Development, Special Education, Education, Clinical Psychology, Psychology or a related field (is preferred ) with educational coursework completed in the areas of Behavior Analysis is preferred
  • Documented experience assisting children with special needs
  • Prior work experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred
  • An ability to work with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse populations
  • Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable vehicle with personal liability insurance
  • Must be Technologically proficient
  • Must be able to pass the individual units of the competency based training program
  • Bilingual, in Spanish, is an asset

Work hours:

  • Full-time and Part-time opportunities are now available
  • Hours of operation are from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Case Manager

Basic Function

Intensive Behavior Intervention Consultants, LLC is dedicated to providing research driven evidenced-based ABA programs for children with special needs in the school and home settings. IBIC, LLC currently serves students throughout Los Angeles County with program headquarters located in Hermosa Beach, CA.

Job Description:

  • Design evidence based ABA treatment programs specifically designed for students with identified special needs. This includes but is not limited to: assessment, written report writing, case analysis, data collection, reporting, modeling, and program development
  • Ensure integrity of program implementation
  • Provide modeling and training to Behavioral Interventionists (BI)
  • Meet daily with Behavioral Interventionists (BI) team to provide support, guidance, direction and supervision
  • Monitor the Behavioral Interventionists (BI) data integrity and documentation.
  • Prepare progress reports, program design and summary of assessment results for clients
  • Manage difficult client, parent, school, staff concerns
  • Monitor the performance evaluations of Behavioral Interventionists (BI) semi-annually
  • Conduct monthly team meetings
  • Attend IEP meetings
  • Conduct weekly field observations
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Clinical/Assistant Clinical Director; Administrative Supervisor and Behavioral Interventionists (BI)
  • Position requires documented experience conducting formal behavioral assessments (FBA), Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABBLS) and Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP)
  • Maintain a safe and respectful collegial work environment
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with colleagues, families, education, and community partners

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification preferred
  • Master’s degree in ABA, Special Education, Education, Clinical Psychology or Psychology, with specialization in behavior analysis
  • At least two years documented experience with the provision of ABA, positive behavior supports and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting
  • At least two years documented experience as a ABA Supervisor designing ABA programs for children with special needs in the school and/or home setting
  • Bilingual in Spanish is an asset but not required

  • Hours of operations range from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Clinical Supervisor
